Ellis County Music Center is seeking a part time employee to fill an open position of General Sales Associate. Applicants need to be able to work Wednesday Evenings, Thursday Evenings, Friday Evenings from 2:00pm-7:00pm and Saturdays from 8:45am-4pm.
Ellis County Music Center is a family oriented business focused on servicing families in our market space. In order to perform well you must ENJOY working with Moms, Dads, and Children of all ages. You must also ENJOY assisting school educators in public, private, and charter school settings.

This position requires the following skills and / or experience:
Some experience in a sales and/or school band setting preferred.
Physical ability to consistently pick-up over 50lbs and carry distances of 100ft or more.
Understanding of School Band Instruments, Supplies, & Accessories
Understanding of Combo Instruments, Supplies, & Accessories.
Ability to effectively function both independently and in team settings
Ability to multitask with customers and everyday store processes
Professional phone communication
Must be efficient with Microsoft Word, and Excel
Must be willing to go ABOVE AND BEYOND while servicing our customers
What you can expect from our interview process:
1st Interview – Up to 15 minute Phone Interview | Screening - Objective: Do you fit the job description?
2nd Interview – Up to 30 minute Face to Face Interview with Hiring Manager | Screening – Objective: Are you pleasant and professional? Would you work well in our family based environment and culture?
3rd Interview – Up to 1 hour Face to Face Interview with Hiring Panel (Up to 3 Team Family Members) | Objective: Access if you can perform WELL in the role.
Final Interview – Up to 30 minute One on One Interview with Hiring Manager | Objective: Briefly discuss the Onboarding Process, Review Company Materials, Finalize Job Offer
The candidate will be required to complete typical new hire paper-work prior to scheduling their first day of work. Hires are expected to begin work immediately after scheduled.
