Thanks for Shopping with Us Online. Here are some quick guidelines and policies to help you make your purchasing decisions.

  • We only ship to addresses in Texas. – We do not collect and remit sales tax to any other jurisdiction at this time. So we must limit our orders to shipping destinations in the great state of Texas. We appreciate your understanding, and encourage you to come join us in Texas. We’re kind’a proud of this state Ya’ll! Orders received for shipment outside of the state will be canceled and refunded.

 

  • If you’re having problems with your purchase come see us in store, and we’ll do our best to help you. We don’t offer mail in returns or return shipment labels. If you have a unique situation, or can’t get to us then give us a call, and we’ll see what we can do to help get things right. Please see the General Store Policies below as they relate to the item you wish to purchase.

 

General Store Policies

Thank you for your business! We have established the following policy to help educate our customers about their return options. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, and sincerely hope to provide a positive shopping experience. Should one of our products not meet your needs please allow us to assist you in one of the following ways:

 

  • Wind Instrument Return - Wind instrument (trumpets, clarinets, flutes, etc.) purchases can be returned for in store credit within one week of original date of purchase and require an original purchase receipt. A cleaning fee of $100 will be assessed on the return on all wind instruments. Wind instruments must be returned with all original materials and in original condition. We will limit the number of returns for the original purchase to one time. 

 

  • String and Percussion Instrument Return- String and Percussion instrument (guitar, bass, drums, etc.) purchases can be returned for in store credit within one week of original purchase date and require original purchase receipt. String and percussion instruments must be returned with all original materials and in original condition. We will limit the number of returns for the original purchase to one time. 

 

 

  • Non-electrical Accessory Return -Non-electrical accessory purchases can be returned within 30 days from date of purchase if unopened and in original packaging with original sales receipt. Excludes non-sealed products. Please see below.

 

  • Non-Sealed Products- All non-sealed products that are played by mouth (ex. oboe reeds, bassoon reeds, harmonicas, recorders, etc.) are considered final sales. This is to remain compliant with local health laws.

 

  • Defective Item Return- If an item is defective, Ellis County Music Center will exchange the item with the same product within the first 30 days, or issue in store credit with original receipt, at its option. We will limit the number of returns for the original purchase to one time.  Subsequent challenges with a returned item will need to be addressed directly with the manufacture of the product. We would be happy to help you locate the manufacturer’s contact information.

 

  • Manufacture Warranty- If an item has a manufactures warranty and needs repair or replacement; please contact Ellis County Music Center. We will attempt to resolve the warranty issue for you. We will limit the number of warranty issues addressed per item to one time. Subsequent challenges with a warranted item will need to be addressed directly with the manufacture of the product. We would be happy to help you locate the manufacturer’s contact information.

 

 

  • Special Order- Please note all special order sales are considered final.

 

  • Electronic Equipment – Please note that all sales on electrical gear or equipment (PA gear, amps, electronic accessories, etc.) are final.

 

  • Book Purchases- Please note that due to copyright laws all book purchases are final.

 

  • All return items are subject to a condition inspection. To receive full value, returned items must in original condition.

As a small business we understand and celebrate how small businesses in our community help in making a better place for us all to live and enjoy. Our mission is:

 

To support Family Values, and Enrich Lives through Music by providing musical products, services, instruction, and community aide.

 

There are many great non-profit organizations in our area that are serving needs in our community, and we thank them for the work they do.

 

Like many organizations we must give and budget wisely to remain a healthy and viable business in order to continue to service the needs of our friends, family, and neighbors. For this reason we will support organizations that we believe help us in furthering our mission. Please review our Donations Policy & Application to submit a donation request.
